“Young Mary had a little lamb.
His name was Sheppard sheep,
And everywhere that Mary went
That sheep was sure to sleep.”
This is not your average Mother Goose nursery rhyme. In this hilarious parody, poor Mary has one very sleepy, slumbering, snoozing sheep named Sheppard and Mary’s mom is not happy.
Can Mary can keep her sleepy sheep awake?
Young readers will laugh along at Mary’s zany attempts, as she tries everything from spicy-hot fiestas to water fights. The humor is fast and fun in this easy to read rhyming adventure.

An Adorable and Funny Read
I received an e-ARC copy of this book in return for an honest review. This author has yet again amazed me with her talent in writing children's books. This phenomenal little story is about Mary and her little lamb but this story has quite a twist as the name of this book suggests. This story is a great learning tool, which includes at the end a little tidbit about Mary and her Lamb and even the original Mary Had A Little Lamb poem. The colors and illustrations are amazingly eye popping and so alive and energetic, due to the fact that I couldn't keep my eyes off of the pages long enough to read the
lines on each page. This is another great story will really great illustration for kids, parents and teachers to enjoy for years to come. A RECOMMENDED MUST READ that will soon be a household classic story and will be passed from generation to generation as a family favorite. Thank you, Julia, Dweck, for another great story to share with my niece. I give this story 10 sleepy sheep.
